This smart comedy is the story of Richard Branson, a foundry worker whose wife has left him for another woman. In an attempt to regain his self esteem, Richard takes a history course at Birmingham University. There he meets Noel, another mature age student with an entirely different outlook on life. Together they learn more than either could have imagined possible about life, women and themselves. Not too much about history, though.
