Welcome to Cascades Theatre, home of the Cascade Theatrical Company.

We want to be your community playhouse! Our goal is to present a season of balanced genres such as comedy, mystery/thriller, holiday-themed, drama, “classic", and musical complete with live musical accompaniment. This season we are proud to present 7 Main Stage productions

In addition, we are introducing our Black Box series, which is comprised of four fantastically-written and critically-acclaimed plays that focus on human nature, character interaction, and thought-provoking moral dilemmas with vast artistic merit. Black Box provides a unique way for our theatrical community to experience and be involved in a more unconventional style of theatre.

Cascades Theatre continues the NightVisions series, allowing groups such as TRIAGE (Central Oregon's premier improv troupe) our venue for performances. Other events include Solo Speak, Jazz at Joe's, limited runs of plays, and staged readings by local playwrights.

Cascades Theatre Launches All Aspects Teen Theatre and Shakespearean Scene and Monologue Festival

All Aspects Teen Theatre provides theatrical opportunities to local teens in the areas of acting, directing, designing, writing, and technical applications for the stage. The goal is to broaden teens' awareness and understanding of the discipline, while encouraging their creativity and fun.

Brad Thompson, a member of our Board of Governors, inaugurated Cascades Theatre's First Annual Shakespearean Scene and Monologue Festival, also known as "Billy Shakes", for students in grades 9 through 12. Each student memorized and presented a Shakespearean monologue, scene, soliloquy, or sonnet to a panel of judges (Liam O'Sruitheain, Sandy Silver, and Juliah Ramaker). Prizes were awarded and the students received feedback on their performances. The students loved the event! Our Second Annual Shakespearean Scene and Monologue is April 11, 2015.
